Recognised by the Council for Dance Education and Training

Glenlyn Academy is one of only a few pre-vocational schools recognised by the Council for Dance Education and Training. Schools awarded CDET's Recognised School Award demonstrate to students, parents and guardians that they adhere to the standards demanded by the industry; standards designed to protect and safeguard young people whether dancing for leisure or with an eye to a career in the profession.

Glenlyn Academy realises that every student is different; we enable young performers to identify, develop and nurture their individual skills.  The Academy believes it is important to remain close to your roots; to use traditional teaching and performing methods with a focus on technique while embracing contemporary ideas in the modern performing arts and commercial world.
